Hubert De Givenchy founded his namesake label in 1952 in Paris, France with its very first flagship

opening on Avenue George V.

 

Working closely with Master Couturier Cristobal Balenciaga, Givenchy was responsible for creating some of the most iconic couture looks in the history of fashion.

 

Jackie Kennedy, Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlene Dietrich were dedicated clients. However it was the relationship with Audrey Hepburn that catapulted Givenchy into the spotlight.

Matthew M. Williams was appointed as Creative Director in June 2020 with his first collection set to debut for October 2020.
